Monthly captions
You manage social media for [café name], an independent coffee shop in [neighborhood, city]. Our tone is warm and simple. Write 8 Instagram captions for [month] about: [seasonal drink], [event], [a barista's story]. Keep each under 40 words, with one call to action.

Weekly numbers
Here is last week's sales export from our point-of-sale system (no customer names or card details). Summarize the busiest and slowest hours for each day, the top 5 items, and anything that sold much less than usual. Then suggest one idea to bring more people in during our slowest hour.
Automatic replies
Write 5 friendly automatic replies, under 30 words each, for our café's Instagram and Facebook messages: opening hours, Wi-Fi, non-dairy milks, parking, and large or catering orders.
Answer everyday messages automatically
Meta Business Suite offers automated responses for Facebook and Instagram messages, such as instant replies and answers to frequently asked questions. Set them up for the questions you answer every day, keep a person on anything that needs judgment, and make it clear when a reply is automatic.
What AI should never do for your café
- Write reviews. The FTC's 2024 rule bans fake reviews and testimonials, including AI-generated ones that pretend to come from real customers. Google Maps also removes fake engagement.
- Publish without a check. A wrong price, allergen or opening time costs more than the time AI saved.
- Get your customers' personal data. Remove names, emails and card details before pasting anything into an AI tool.
- Invent claims. No "award-winning" or "best in town" unless it's true and you can show it.
Does Google penalize AI-written content?
Not for being AI-written. Google's guidance says "appropriate use of AI or automation is not against our guidelines"; what it targets is content made mainly to manipulate search rankings. So use AI for a first draft, then add what only you know: your beans, your regulars, your neighborhood. That's also what makes a page worth reading, like our guides to Google Maps and website design.
How Nookavi helps
We use AI to speed up planning and first drafts. Then a person on our team writes the final version, and a second person checks it before anything is posted. Our free social media audit includes ideas for which of your daily tasks are worth automating.
Frequently asked questions
Can AI write my coffee shop's Instagram captions?
Yes, as a first draft. Give it your menu, your tone and the month's events, then edit each caption so it sounds like you and every detail is right.
Can I automatically reply to Instagram and Facebook messages?
Yes. Meta Business Suite offers automated responses, such as instant replies and answers to frequently asked questions, which work well for hours, Wi-Fi and menu questions.
Is it legal to use AI to write reviews for my café?
No. The FTC's final rule, announced in August 2024, bans fake reviews and testimonials, including AI-generated reviews that claim to come from real customers. Google Maps also removes fake engagement.
Does Google rank AI-written pages lower?
Not because they're AI-written. Google says appropriate use of AI or automation isn't against its guidelines; content made mainly to manipulate rankings is.
Is it safe to put my café's sales data into an AI tool?
Remove customer names, emails and card details first, and check the tool's data settings. Totals by hour and by item are usually enough for planning.
